again, i'm amazed.

the human system of blood vessels - arteries, veins and capillaries - is over 60,000 miles long. that's long enough to go around the diameter of the world more than twice.


blood takes about 20 seconds to circulate throughout the entire system. the human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps, to squirt out blood 30 feet high and pumps nearly five quarts of blood through the body every 60 seconds.


the human eye is composed of more than two million working parts can distinguish 500 shades of gray
